Over the years, Learner2Mentor has partnered with various corporations and housing associations to help make courses available for hundreds of individuals across the London boroughs. Recently, we have also expanded into the Kent and Sussex areas. 

Housing associations’ generosity to provide the funding for their residents to gain employment and achieve their goals and aspirations have been the cornerstone of what we do here at Learner2mentor. Once employed the world of opportunities are available to these learners with a life-time mentor connection with Learner2mentor Limited. If there are any challenges we will meet them together. We are determined to build a trusting relationship that enables the residents to succeed at the highest level. Whether it is helping get your residents back to work or designing a bespoke course for your corporation, we ensure that from start to finish we are with you.

Our Previous Partners

L&Q Group

Our five-year project with L&Q left a great legacy at London & Quadrant Housing Association. ‘The ‘Let’s Go to School project’ won the L&Q ‘Creating Places Awards Foundation project of the year 2013′ and the  ‘Business in the Community’s (BiTC) Big Tick Work Inclusion Award’ for both 2014 and 2015. 

Our legacy with Housing Associations and specifically London & Quadrant continues across all housing associations. 

Golding Homes

This year, we worked closely with Golding Homes in Kent to work with their residents. Originally, the plan was to provide teaching and support in a classroom-based setting to achieve the NCFE CACHE Level 1 Preparing to Work in Schools course. However, due to the Government COVID-19 guidelines, we succeeded in providing an alternative personal tutor/mentoring service online for the Goldings Homes residents. The success of this course has already begun a line of interviews for the Golding Homes learners in schools and successes of employment for the New Year.

Due to the collaboration between housing associations in Kent, Golding Homes recommended us to West Kent Extra Ltd who have prepared to market this course for their residents in early 2021.

What We Provide

  • A constant flow of communication through emails and electronic meetings. Discussions and recommendations to enhance the learner’s chances of achieving the qualification and gain employment
  • A weekly updated Matrix during the course, providing the progression on each learner, when and what they have achieved every step of the way. 
  • Electronic Tutorials to the group of learners and/or individuals (whatever suits the learner) emails, texts and telephone calls available every day of the course duration at the learner’s convenience
  • To build a positive relationship with each learner, recognise their ability and differentiate the teaching and support according to their individual needs 
  • Individual Learning Plans are provided, to support the learner’s understanding and progression throughout the course
  • Provide feedback to the learners on each task and assignment and recognise their achievement before moving onto the next piece of work
  • Sustain their employment by becoming the learner’s life-time mentor, to offer the learner advice and guidance for interviews and further training
  • To provide a Learner2mentor Certificate of Completion when each learner completes the course with the NCFE Cache Accredited Certificate to follow

Lastly, Graduation Days have been provided in the past, before the 2020 Covid 19 Pandemic, inviting learners and their families to a presentation of achievement.

Learner2mentor has built a positive relationship with local schools who use us for their staffs continued personal development from bespoke L2m short courses to the accredited NCFE CACHE Teaching and Learning suite and Diplomas providing opportunities into promotions and Teachers Training.
